Join the movement,

Fund the Future

This summer Youth Vs Apocalypse is fundraising to meet our goal of 20k! All resources go to our pivotal work of supporting and building power in frontline communities, particularly developing the leadership of frontline youth, to fight the climate crisis.

Youth Vs Apocalypse provides leadership development, organizing infrastructure, skills and tools, advocacy opportunities, and a community of care to enable youth to access their voice and build power to win climate justice.

We work in the Bay Area, particularly Alameda and San Francisco counties, focusing on schools that are highly impacted by racism, violence, pollution, economic injustice, and disenfranchisement. We have successfully built deep and lasting relationships with students, teachers, and schools. But this work takes resources. We provide these services at no cost to schools or to students or their families because we believe in removing barriers for frontline youth to be part of the climate justice movement.

You can help us win this vision of frontline youth leading the climate justice movement by donating to Youth Vs Apocalypse. Every contribution makes a difference. $15 can buy food for a club meeting, $100 can cover food and supplies for a club for a month, $1,000 can pay for a bus to an action for youth who lack transportation, or $5,000 can fund an organizer to work with 1 school for a whole semester!

We thank all our allies and know that we couldn’t do our work without you.

“It wasn’t until Youth vs. Apocalypse (YVA) came to her class that it clicked for her: “They’re poisoning our lungs, the air, the soil. Refineries are often placed in communities, like Richmond, with low-income people of color. You don’t see that where there’s mostly white people. It’s environmental racism.”
