Who is Kevin?
Kevin is an 18 year old, first gen college student, environmental justice organizer. He grew up in the Bay Area and saw the effects of Asthma first-hand. As a result, he felt it was his obligation to make a difference by speaking up on behalf of his experiences in his community. As of right now Kevin conducts research air quality samples primarily focusing on particulate matter and the grassroot organizing aspect of listening to community and being a representative of the youth. He also serves as the Youth representative for the Bay Area Air Quality Mangement District (BAAQMD) Community Advisory Council (CAC) and Community Emissions Reduction Plan Steering Committee for Richmond and San Pablo (CERP). Additionally he is a researcher at my local community college and a Junior Environmental Engineer for Ramboll.
